Blatch is a small, independent creative studio that turns ideas, stories and sometimes spectacularly complicated briefs into things people actually want to watch. We work with brands, agencies and organisations to find the visual story inside an idea — whether it's a product, a campaign, a documentary or a subject that takes a little explaining. From a scribble on the back of an envelope to a fully fledged campaign, we help turn good ideas into things people can see, understand and remember. We've been doing it for 20+ years, so we've picked up a few tricks along the way.

Since 2006 we've made work for over a 100 clients, including Netflix, Disney Channel, MTV, Fair Finance, Google, Vodacom and Global Citizen and others... Thomas Blatch has been directing animation in South Africa for twenty years and runs every project himself, from first call to final delivery.

We make brand campaigns, commercials and social content — and work for causes we believe in: climate, education and public health.
